- Does this tool upload my video to any server?
- No. The thumbnails are loaded directly from img.youtube.com — a public YouTube CDN — inside your browser. No video data, no cookies, and no login are required.
- What thumbnail resolutions are available?
- Up to five resolutions: Max HD (1280×720), SD (640×480), HQ (480×360), MQ (320×180), and Thumbnail (120×90). Not every video has all five — older or low-view videos may only go up to HQ.
- Why does the Max HD thumbnail show a grey placeholder?
- YouTube only generates a 1280×720 thumbnail for videos uploaded at HD resolution. If the preview is grey, the video has no Max HD thumbnail — use SD or HQ instead.
- What YouTube URL formats are supported?
- Paste any format: youtube.com/watch?v=…, youtu.be/…, youtube.com/shorts/…, youtube.com/embed/…, or the plain 11-character video ID. All are parsed automatically.
