よくある質問
- How accurate is this BPM finder?
- Accuracy improves with each tap. After 8 taps you can expect ±0.5 BPM precision. The rolling window keeps results stable by focusing on your most recent taps — use a wider window (16) for slow songs and a narrower one (4) for fast-changing rhythms.
- Does my data leave my device?
- No. All calculations happen entirely in your browser using JavaScript. The BPM history is saved locally in IndexedDB — nothing is sent to any server.
- Does it work on mobile?
- Yes. The large tap button is touch-optimised for iPhone Safari and Android Chrome. Tap along to your music with your thumb.
- What does the Copy to DAW button do?
- It copies the BPM value as a plain number (e.g. "120.5") to your clipboard, ready to paste into Ableton Live, Logic Pro, FL Studio, GarageBand, or any other DAW.
- What is the rolling window setting?
- The window controls how many recent taps are used to calculate the average BPM. A smaller window (4 taps) reacts faster to tempo changes; a larger window (16 taps) gives a smoother, more stable reading.
