Divide Large PDF into Smaller Files

Email attachments and file upload limits often cap at 10–25 MB, but PDF reports and catalogs frequently exceed this size. Dividing a large PDF into smaller parts lets you email them separately or upload each part within a platform's size limit.

Specify the page ranges for each part (e.g., pages 1–50 for Part 1, 51–100 for Part 2), download each separately, and share as needed. The tool handles PDFs loaded from your local filesystem, so there is no upload size limit on the tool itself.

This approach is also useful for booklet printing: split a long document into sections that fit on individual sheets, then print each section separately.

All splitting occurs client-side in your browser using pdf-lib. Nothing is transmitted to any server.
