Separate PDF Pages Without Acrobat

Adobe Acrobat is the traditional tool for separating PDF pages, but it requires a subscription and is only available on desktop. This free browser tool does the same job without any software installation or account signup.

Choose between splitting every page into its own file (downloaded as a ZIP) or splitting by a specific page range to create a focused excerpt. The tool works in Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge on desktop and mobile.

On iPhone and iPad, you can open a PDF from the Files app, share it to the browser, and use this tool to separate the pages — all without a desktop computer or paid app.

The separation is powered by pdf-lib running locally in your browser, so your documents remain completely private throughout the process.
