Edit PDF Bookmarks Without Acrobat

Adobe Acrobat Pro is the standard tool for editing PDF bookmarks, but it costs $19.99–$29.99 per month and is only available on desktop. This free browser tool provides the same core capability without any subscription, installation, or sign-in.

When you open a PDF, the tool reads the existing bookmark list and presents it as an editable table. Each row shows the title and the page number. You can rename any bookmark by clicking its title field, change the destination by updating the page number, delete unwanted entries with the × button, and add new bookmarks with the + Add bookmark button.

After making your changes, click Apply Bookmarks & Download. The tool rewrites the PDF outline using pdf-lib and triggers an immediate download. The resulting file opens correctly in any PDF reader — Acrobat, Preview on macOS, Edge, Chrome, and mobile readers all display the updated outline.

No watermark is added. The tool does not modify page content, font, or image data — only the bookmark list changes.
