- Does my image leave my device?
- No. Upscaling runs in your browser using a Canvas + sharpening pipeline.
- How big can my image be?
- A few thousand pixels per side is fine. Very large images may exhaust device memory at 4×.
- Why not a full ESRGAN model?
- Real-ESRGAN-small is ~15 MB — we plan to add it as an opt-in heavy option. The default sharpening pipeline already produces clean results for small icons and logos.
- Is this tool free?
- Yes, completely free with no signup and no usage limits.
- Does it work on mobile?
- Yes. The tool is mobile-first and works on iPhone Safari and Android Chrome.
