How to use

Why double spaces appear
Double spaces commonly appear when text is copied from PDFs (line wrapping artefacts), pasted from emails formatted with fixed-width fonts, or typed by people following the old typewriter convention of two spaces after a sentence. Modern typesetting guidelines — including AP, APA, Chicago, and most web style guides — require exactly one space after a full stop.
