What do WHOIS status codes mean?
- clientTransferProhibited — The domain cannot be transferred to another registrar until this lock is removed.
- clientDeleteProhibited — The domain cannot be deleted by the registrar.
- clientUpdateProhibited — Contact and name server changes are locked.
- serverTransferProhibited — Registry-level transfer lock (stronger than client lock).
- pendingDelete — Domain has expired and is awaiting deletion; can often be recovered in the redemption period.
