Crop Image to Circle

Many platforms display profile photos as circles: LinkedIn, Twitter/X, Facebook, Slack, GitHub, and most video calling apps. Uploading a square image lets the platform apply its own circular crop — often cutting off your face or the important part of the image.

By setting the corner radius to maximum (50%) in this tool, you create a perfect circle from your image with a transparent background. The transparent PNG output means the circular photo will display correctly on any background colour, without a white box around the circle.

For best results, start with a square crop of your image first (use the Image Crop tool with the 1:1 preset), then apply maximum rounding here. This ensures the circle is centred symmetrically around your subject.

100% in your browser. Your file never leaves your device.

Output is always PNG to preserve transparency.
