Sharpen Product Photos for E-Commerce
Product photography often goes through multiple steps — shooting, background removal, colour correction — and each step can introduce a small amount of softness. By the time a product photo is ready to upload, it may look less sharp than the original capture.
Sharpening as a final step before uploading to your e-commerce platform restores the fine detail that makes products look professional: fabric texture, metal finishes, engraved text, and product edges. For most product shots, intensity 4–6 works well.
High-texture products like fabric, jewellery, or electronics may benefit from intensity 7–8. Process photos privately in your browser — never uploading them to a third-party service means your unreleased product photos stay confidential.
