Remove Background from Product Photo

E-commerce platforms like Amazon, Etsy, and Shopify recommend or require product photos on a clean white or transparent background. A product shot on a cluttered or coloured background looks unprofessional compared to studio-white competition.

This tool uses a colour-threshold removal algorithm to eliminate the background from product photos taken against a solid-coloured backdrop. It works best for studio-style product shots on clean white, grey, or single-colour backgrounds.

After background removal, download as a transparent PNG. Composite the product on a pure white background in any image editor, or use the transparent version directly on your e-commerce platform if it accepts PNG with alpha channel.
