How to convert Google Sheets to Markdown
- Open your Google Sheet and click File → Download → Microsoft Excel (.xlsx) (or CSV if you only need one sheet).
- Go to the XLSX to Markdown Table converter and upload the downloaded file.
- If your workbook has multiple sheets, select the one you want from the Sheet dropdown. Click Convert to Markdown.

.mdfile and paste it into your GitHub README, Obsidian note, or documentation site.
Your Google Sheet data is never sent to our servers. The downloaded file is parsed entirely in your browser by SheetJS, and the Markdown output is generated locally. The only data that leaves your device is the final Markdown text you choose to copy.
