Preguntas frecuentes
- Why is the output always PNG?
- Rounded corners require transparency (alpha channel) at the corners. JPEG does not support transparency. PNG preserves the transparent corners so the image looks correct on any background.
- How do I make a circular image?
- Set the radius slider to 50%. On a square image, this produces a perfect circle. On a non-square image, it produces a pill/ellipse shape. For a perfect circle, crop the image to square first using the Image Crop tool.
- What radius should I use for app icons?
- iOS icons use approximately 22% corner radius (squircle approximation). Android icons use approximately 20% for the adaptive icon layer. For UI mockups, 15–25% is typical for modern card designs.
- Will the rounded image look good on a dark background?
- Yes. The transparent corners reveal whatever is behind the image — whether white, dark, or any colour. The anti-aliased edge ensures smooth rendering without jagged pixels.
- Can I round just some corners?
- No — this tool applies the same radius to all four corners. For asymmetrical rounding, use a full image editor.
- How do I use rounded images in presentations?
- Download the PNG and insert it into PowerPoint, Keynote, or Google Slides. Because the file has a transparent background, the rounded corners will show the slide background colour rather than a white box.
