Convert Photos to Searchable PDF

Converting a batch of photos into a single searchable PDF is a common archival task: scanning a paper document with your phone and producing a searchable archive, collecting receipts into a bookkeeper-friendly PDF, or digitising a notebook for full-text search.

Drop multiple JPEG or PNG photos in one operation. The tool processes each image through Tesseract.js OCR, embeds the recognised text as a hidden layer, and packages all pages into a single PDF download. Photos are processed in the order you add them, so arrange them correctly before clicking Convert.

The OCR text layer is invisible — your photos display exactly as they look. But any PDF viewer can search the text, and tools like Acrobat, Preview, and even the browser's built-in PDF viewer can copy selected text from the page.

Processing is entirely client-side. Your photos are never uploaded to any server.
