What is session RPE?
Session RPE (Rating of Perceived Exertion) is a single overall effort score given 30 minutes after the session ends. Rate the whole session on a 1–10 scale: 1 = very easy, 5–6 = moderate, 8–9 = very hard, 10 = absolute maximum.
What is the AU unit?
AU stands for Arbitrary Units. The formula (duration × RPE) produces a dimensionless score used to compare session stress over time, not an absolute physiological measure.
