Add Header Page Numbers to PDF
Some document styles call for page numbers in the header — academic papers using APA format, legal documents with page numbers adjacent to a document identifier, or reports that reserve the footer for other information.
This tool places page numbers at the top of each PDF page. Choose top-left, top-center, or top-right positioning and configure the font size and starting page number. The numbers are placed at a consistent margin from the top edge of the page.
Header page numbers are rendered as vector text using pdf-lib, ensuring they remain sharp and selectable regardless of PDF viewer or zoom level.
Everything runs in your browser. Drop your PDF, configure the header position, click Apply, and download the updated file.
